Producer, Technical Director, Photographer,
Production Manager

As a multi-hyphenate media professional, I blend my passion for storytelling with a diverse skill set. With over a decade of experience, I’ve contributed to various facets of the media industry spanning documentary filmmaking, live production, photography, and public relations. My professional work spans diverse media, including politics, journalism, fashion, music, crime, and reality.

I cut my teeth in video production over ten years ago in Washington, DC. Working with the Nation’s largest public service employees union, AFSCME (American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees), I honed my skills in producing, editing, and directing.

My career expanded into public relations, where I collaborated with charter schools in DC and later freelanced in New York. Under my company, Mazi Productions, I partnered with PMK•BNC—a strategic marketing and communications firm specializing in entertainment and popular culture. Successfully leading marketing tour productions across NYC, DC, Chicago, and Atlanta, I navigated the intersection of creativity and strategy.

I take pride in my educational journey. As an HBCU graduate of The University of the District of Columbia (UDC), I majored in Mass Media: TV & Film Productions. During my time there, I was an active member of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) and Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society. At the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), I pursued Political Science and Music. I founded and directed the UTSA Gospel Choir, fostering artistic expression and community. Additionally, I established Men of Honor, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating stereotypes and promoting minority retention in educational institutions. Today, I serve as its CEO, ensuring our legacy continues.

Ultimately, I’m a storyteller. I find fulfillment in helping others share their narratives through various mediums. My life’s mission revolves around service, guided by the motto: “Each one, reach one.”
